DEFINITION:
Under close supervision, performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks with the maintenance of roads, pipeline systems,
and other related infrastructures.

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS: This position is intended to facilitate the accomplishment of District workload requirements. Employees in this position are
given close supervision and do not perform the more skilled assignments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: There are no education or experience requirements for this position.

DEFINITION:
Positions in this series operate diesel and gasoline powered heavy mobile equipment for the District.

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:The Equipment Operator is the journey/lead worker class in this series and under supervision, operates diesel and gasoline
powered heavy mobile equipment for the District including, but not limited to: water tanker, backhoe, dirt compactor,
excavator, loader, flat bed, fuel truck and directional boring machine.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two (2) years of full-time experience on equipment; as in, backhoe, skip loader, directional bore rig and vacuum equipment.

SALARY RANGE
$30.90 - $41.69 Hourly
$4,696.71 - $6,338.38 Monthly
$56,360.38 - $76,060.62 Annually

DEFINITION:
This position is responsible for the construction, repair, and maintenance of the underground pipeline system in the District.

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:The Lead Man is under close supervision of the Field Supervisor, Superintendent, Office Manager and General Manager,
incumbents work as a member of a crew involved in the maintenance, repair and/or construction of the underground pipeline
systems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: One (1) year of full-time experience in the position of Maintenance Worker in Florin County Water District service performing
duties which have included the repair, maintenance, or construction of underground pipeline systems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires that the incumbents possess a Water Distribution Operator Grade D2 certificate and must complete the
appropriate amount of continuing education hours as required by the State of California to maintain the certification. Failure to
obtain and maintain the appropriate credentials may constitute a cause for termination. Competent person Certification.
